  • I am a board member for a American-Haitian NGO that is a medical mission. The core nucleus of our group formed with a group of doctors and nurses who began to help a small hospital in North Central Haiti in the mid-eighties. We are now a full-fledged 501(c)3 NGO. Community Coalition for Haiti has set-up a 100% restricted fund to help with the medical teams in the earthquake zone. I started shooting in Haiti in 1999 and come Saturday will make my 11th trip to the country. Our web site is: http://www.cchaiti.org. We are based in Northern Virginia. So far we have three surgical teams in the field and the team I am with makes four. Next week we are sending two additional teams to southern Haiti. (Jacmel, PAP and where ever we are needed)

Thank you APA for putting this info into the monthly newsletter/email release. I’ve been a member for many years.
